Perth Airport

Perth Airport is situated on the Perth Plains and is bounded to the west by the Indian Ocean and to the east by the Darling Range.

Hours of operation/curfew

There is no curfew at Perth Airport. However, noise abatement procedures apply.

Runway configuration

Perth Airport runways are 03/21 (3444 metres) and 06/24 (2163 metres). Runways 03/21 and 24 are served by instrument landing systems. Runway 06 is served by a non-precision approach.

Traffic

Several international airlines as well as the standard domestic airlines service Perth Airport. Daily movements average around 300 including charter, training and general aviation aircraft. Four fire water bombing aircraft are based here during the summer months with their operations demanding special priority.
