Airservices is a government-owned corporation providing safe, secure, efficient and environmentally responsible services to the aviation industry. We manage air traffic operations for around 75 million passengers on more than three million flights every year.

Working groups and panels

We are active in a number of national and international Forums and panels associated with broader implementation of ADS-B including of global standardisation and procedures development activities.

Greg Dunstone, our ADS-B Programs Director, is Chairman of the ICAO ADS-B Study and Implementation Task Force for the Asia Pacific Region.

Robert Butcher, from our Safety Management Group is Chairman of the ICAO Separation and Airspace Safety Panel (SASP).

We have also been contracted to support other organisations developing plans and trials of ADS-B.

Australian Industry ADS-B Working Group

The ADS-B implementation team, under the auspices of the Australia Strategic Air Traffic Management Group (ASTRA) is tasked to ensure that the deployment of ADS-B in Australia proceeds efficiently and is coordinated across various stakeholder groups.
