Airservices is Australia's air navigation service provider - we provide air traffic control, aviation rescue and fire fighting and air navigation services.

Our governance

We are an Australian corporate Commonwealth entity. Our Board reports to the Minister for Infrastructure and Transport.

In Australia, we work closely with other government organisations concerned with aviation safety, regulations, and search and rescue, such as the Department of Infrastructure, Regional Development and Cities, the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, the Australian Transport Safety Bureau and the Australian Maritime Safety Authority.

We also work with the International Civil Aviation Organization to share information and advances in aviation technology and to maintain global aviation safety standards.

The Aircraft Noise Ombudsman (ANO) conducts independent administrative reviews of Airservices management of aircraft noise-related activities. Access the current ANO Charter here.
